Hello from the team at Artgold. We’re excited to present our exhibition program for the second half of 2025, complete with NEW GALLERY LIGHTING! Our GM, Brent, has been working really hard with local tradespeople to complete this phase of Artgold’s gallery upgrade. It’s an impressive addition to our funky little space, and we hope you will join us at some stage over the coming six months to support local arts and culture, and to see how fantastic everything looks!

We’re thrilled to announce the appointment of Claire Weir as the Local Curator for the Radical Futures: Goldfields exhibition, part of the 2025-2026 Regional Arts Triennial. Claire brings a deep connection to the region, a strong curatorial voice, and a passion for showcasing the richness and diversity of local creative practice. Her experience as a photographer, writer, facilitator, and advocate for regional arts will be invaluable as she works closely with our exhibiting artists and community to shape a bold and inspiring exhibition that reflects the unique perspectives of the Goldfields. Expressions of Interest for artists are still open, and we encourage you to apply (scroll down for more information). In our last newsletter you may have read that we’re now running the Artgold Awards on a biennial basis. As a small not-for-profit we rely on the support of our amazing community. We’ve put together a Supporter Package for anyone interested in helping make the 2025 Awards a reality. There’s a range of options to choose from, and every bit counts. This event is open to the public to attend and celebrate the nominees for 2025. Who will win? Come along and find out and stay for morning tea to chat and share in the excitement. |
